Monetary donations Our BEAR Necessities program is funded through fundraising efforts of our High School Leadership Class, recycling aluminum cans and donations from our community, churches and businesses. Since our High School Leadership Class runs the program (purchasing food, bagging food and delivery), we have little or no administrative costs. All funds go directly to meet the hunger need.

Food items We are in need of non-perishable food items for the program. Items should be individually packed. Since at the current time, we are serving approximately 120 students in Pre-K through second grade, we need at least 140 of each item. We strive to keep foods in the backpack the same for each child.
